Corniglia - Cinque Terre

Corniglia er den tredje og midterste byen av de 5 Cinque Terre byene. Denne skiller seg ut ved at den ikke ligger ved havet, men heller høyt oppe på et fjell/klippe ca 100 meter over havet.
/Corniglia is the third village and the middle city of the 5 villages that forms Cinque Terre. The distinctive thing about this village is that it is not located by the sea like the others. Corniglia is located about 100 meters above the sea./

Manarola Cinque Terre

Manarola is just like Riomaggiore filled with colourful buildings that lays so beautifully on the hill side whiles the sea crushes into the huge rocks below. This little village is also filled with old colourful fisher boats that looks like they haven't been in the water for a few years. It is definitely a distinctive feature for Manarola and it looks very rural.

/Manarola er akkurat som Riomaggiore en landsby full av fargerike hus som ligger tett i tett oppover åsen mens man har det buldrende havet som kaster seg rundt under.Denne lille landsbyen har også en hel del gamle, fargerike fiskebåter som tydeligvis ikke har vært i vannet på en godt stund. Disse flotte gamle fiskerbåtene gjør i alle fall at Manarola får et eget lille særpreg og det ser veldig pittoresk ut./ 

Riomaggiore - Cinque Terre

På nordvest kysten av Italia finner man de 5 fiskelandsbyene som tilsammen utgjør Cinque Terre. Disse sjarmerende byen med sin idylliske beliggenhet, stup bratte fjellsider, brusende hav og solnedganger som burde ha plass in en hver roman, er dette noe man absolutt ikke må gå glipp av. Hvis man reiser fra La Spezia og retning mot Genova er den første landsbyen man kommer til Riomaggiore. 

/On the Northwest coast of Italy you will find the five fisher villages which together forms the well known Cinque Terre. These charming villages with their idyllic location, steep mountainsides, roaring sea and tranquil sunsets is something you do not want to miss out on. If you travel direction is from La Spezia to Genova the first village you will get to is Riomaggiore./

Norway Part One

Beautiful Norway !

Far, far north, almost on the North Pole you find the small country of Norway. It has about 5 million inhabitants, they official language is Norwegian, although most people also speak very good English, we have our own currency (Norwegian kroner) and we are not a part of the EU ;) To get from South of Norway to North of Norway you need to fly and that will take you about 2 hours, if you drive it will take you about two to three days, or you can go on a week cruise with Hurtigruta (Bergen-Kirkenes).
