San Marino

I den østlige delen av fjellkjeden Appenninene på Appenninerhalvøya, midt i Italia finner man den lille sjarmerende republikken San Marino. San Marino med sitt beskjedne folketall, 32,629 (registrert i februar 2014) er faktisk verdens eldste republikk og har en historie som strekker seg tilbake til år 301. e.Kr. San Marino by, Città di San Marino, ligger ved foten av Monte Titano, og det er oppe på toppen her man finner de største turist attraksjonene.

San Marino with its inhabitants of about 32,629 (statistics from February 2014) claims to be the oldest surviving sovereign and  constitutional republic in the world, as their history goes all the way back to year 301.The capital, Città di San Marino is located at the foot of Monte Titano, and it is on the top here you have all the tourist attractions./

Typical Norwegian Easter

This is what we do, the majority of the people in Norway still go up to the mountains to their cabin ( or they rent one or go with other friends) and we spend Easter holidays there. Some Norwegians might say this is so 80's and 90's style, but statistics have once again shown us that the mountains is still our preferred Easter holiday destination. So whiles some people spend their holiday in pure luxury we go to cabin where we don't have electricity, water or indoor toilet.
