Cruise info you wish you knew in advance!... Cruise info du skulle ønske du visste på forhånd!

/If you are going on a cruise you will most likely meet people who have cruised several times before and people who are doing it for the first time. I have been on a cruise a few times, however there are some things I can never remember, important information that I really wished I knew. So the here comes the info you definitely will need on a cruise and that you can't find in any brochure./
Skal man på cruise så vil man møte mennesker som har gjort dette mange ganger og mennesker som er på cruise for første gang. Jeg har faktisk vært på cruise flere ganger, men allikevel er det litt informasjon jeg skulle ønske jeg hadde på forhånd. Ting man ikke husker fra gang til gang blant annet. Her kommer derfor de tipsene cruiseselskapene kanskje ikke gir deg og ting man så inderlig skulle ønske man viste før man gikk om bord.

Travel 2015, hit skal du reise

Skal vi følge Lonely Planet sine råd om de destinasjonene vi burde reise til i 2015 havner på alt fra Nord Norge til Tasmania. Altså nesten så langt nord du kommer og helt på stikk motsatt side av verden til den Australske øya nesten helt i sør. Selve listen til Lonely Planet er på 10 forskjellige steder i 10 forskjellige land steder og jeg må innrømme at de frister like mye alle sammen.
/If you want to travel to alle the destination that Lonely Planet reccomend you to in 2015 you will have to og all around the world from the North of Norway to Tasmania South of Australia. I must admit that all the places on the list appeals to me and I haven't been to any of those places so I would really like to og some day./

Houston, Texas

Er man i Downtown Houston så er det ikke mye som tyder på at dette er Amerikas fjerde største by med over 2 millioner innbyggere (over 5 millioner med områdene rundt), for det er ganske rolig og stille akkurat i dette området. Nå skal det jo sies at dette er en veldig stor business by og av den grunn så skjer det kanskje mer her i ukedagene enn det gjør i helgene, og vi var der fra fredag kveld til søndag morgen så vi fikk vel ikke akkurat med oss hva som egentlig skjer i Downtown Houston. Men det er forsatt verdt et besøk hvis man er på disse kantene, og det er jo noen mennesker der, veldig mange internasjonale faktisk. 

/If you're in Houston, or as we were Downtown Houston, it's not that much that reminds you that this is the fourth largest city in America and that there are over 2 million people living there,  over 5 millions counting the suburbs. It's quiet here. However this is a business city and as we were there during the weekend this is what you should expect. I guess it is more lively during the weekdays when the business is going on, but there are some people there during the weekends as well, a lot of international people actually./ 

Flying from Stavanger to Houston

Normally I would not write a whole blogpost about a flight I have been on, however this one is quite special and is so worth to mention. It is without a doubt the best flight I have ever been on , it is nothing like a normal flight experience and this is why.........

So where am I going.........

 

I had a blog post about a month ago where I was wondering where to travel to in October. Well after looking into a few things we found out what to do. It is actually something very relaxing, I don't have to plan anything during the trip, someone will drop us to the places we are going to, I will visit 4 countries within a week and there is a lot of stuff happening all the time and I can choose if I want to participate or not. Also if I want, I can do different activities in the different countries or I can relax on the beach. Sounds like a great holiday, yeah it will be and it is, believe it or not, a cruise.    

Stockhom weekend

Jente tur til Stockholm en helg er ikke å forakte i det hele tatt og det er absolutt noe jeg kommer til å gjøre igjen. Vi var 3 jenter som reiste i forbindelse med en konsert vi skulle på, Pharrell Williams, og da ble det jo en weekend tur på oss. Det hele startet i OSL loungen på Gardermoen.....

/Girls trip to Stockholm for a weekend is a brilliant idea. We were three girls who were going to Sweden for a concert, Pharrell Williams, so we made a weekend of fun out of it. It all started at the airport lounge at Oslo Airport..../ 

Top 5 destinations to revisit

Some places you are happy with visiting just once but some places you really want to go back to simple just because you can't get enough. So when booked.net asked me to post my top 5 destination that I would like to revisit as a part of the Top Destination to Go There there was no doubt in my mind that I would do that.This mostly based on the fact that if I was the one who were looking for somewhere to go I would definitely consider a place a travel blogger would like to revisit. There is no other travellers that are more critical of places that travel bloggers and if they would like to go back it must be good.

Norway top 7 must see

Norway is a extremely beautiful country and I think a lot of people agree with me when I say that this is a gem when it comes to travel, adventure and experience. There is a reason why Norway as a tourist destination has gotten so much attention in the international media over the past years. This is a dream destination, something I haven't learned to appreciate until I was way pas my twenties. Anyway, there is so much of this beautiful country I call home I want to see and I think a share this bucketlist with many people.  

/Norge er et utrolig vakkert land og det er nok mange som enige med meg når jeg sier at dette landet rett og slett er en opplevelseperle. Det er ikke uten grunn at Norge som turist destinasjon har fått så mye oppmerksomhet i utenlandsk media de siste årene, dette er nemlig for veldig mange en drømme destinasjon. det har tatt meg noen år og det er ikke før i mitt "voksne" liv jeg har lært å sette pris på mitt eget hjemland og faktisk ønsker å feriere og oppleve alt Norge har å by på. Hvor mange av oss har ikke en lang list over ting og steder vi gjerne vil se. Jeg vet i alle fall at jeg har en liste jeg virkelig håper at jeg kan oppfylle en dag, blir litt som en innenlands bucketlist dette her./

Sopot - Poland

Jentetur til Sopot i Polen en helg, det kan jo ikke bli feil! Her er det bare å pakke kofferten, hyle nedpå et par glass og sette seg på flyet og la helgen begynne! Sopot er nemlig en utolig hot destinasjon for tiden.

/Girls weekend in Sopot, Poland, this just can't go wrong! Pack you suitcase, throw back a few glass of wine and get on that airplane and let the fun begin. Sopot is the hot spot at the moment./

Where to travel in October?

Når kveldene blir mørke, og man kjenner kulden begynner å smyge seg inn, løvet fra trærne er nesten borte og man begynner å undre når den første snøen skal komme, da skal jeg forsvinne! /When the evening is getting darker and you can feel the cold is sneaking up on you, the leaf from the trees are almost gone and you start wondering when the first snow will arrive, then I'm going to disappear!/
